Cancellation and Refund Policy
Due to high demand for our tours, all sales are final within 48 hours of the scheduled tour.
However, we understand that plans can change. We offer the following cancellation policy:
● Cancellations with more than 48 hours notice will receive a full refund.
● Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour are non-refundable, but we are happy to
provide a raincheck to rebook your tour at a later date.
● Same-day bookings are non-refundable but are eligible for rainchecks to use
anytime in the future.
If you are not at the meeting point at your scheduled departure time, BK Adventure
reserves the right to sell your seat to other guests. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before
your tour to ensure you don’t miss out. This policy is in place because we reserve spaces
specifically for each guest, and preparations are made in advance to ensure an amazing
adventure.
To request a cancellation or raincheck, please email us at [email protected]. All requests
must be submitted in writing.
Weather Policy
At BK Adventure, we operate tours rain or shine. Most of the time, light rain does not prevent tours from departing safely. In fact, light rain can actually enhance the experience — manatees are more active in light rain, and bioluminescence often sparkles even more beautifully as raindrops hit the water.
Because Florida has a tropical climate, occasional heavy rain, lightning, or severe weather may require us to delay, postpone, or cancel a tour for safety reasons. If this happens, we will make every effort to contact you promptly using the contact information provided at booking.
We understand that many guests have only one evening available, so when possible, we will monitor the weather closely and wait for passing storms in order to safely operate the tour.
Please keep in mind that daily afternoon and evening thunderstorms are normal in Florida, especially during summer. These storms usually pass within 30–60 minutes. Our team closely monitors conditions at the launch site and will delay departures when needed to allow storms to clear.
Florida’s weather is beyond anyone’s control. Like theme parks, airlines, and other outdoor attractions, we cannot issue refunds due to weather, but we will always do our best to operate tours safely and as scheduled.
What to Expect in Inclement Weather
If weather conditions impact your scheduled tour, please be prepared for the following procedures:
- We will wait 30 minutes after the last lightning strike within 10 miles before launching.
- We will wait until wind is below 15 mph for at least 30 minutes.
- Tours may be delayed past the scheduled launch time. Please be prepared to wait.
- Because many guests travel long distances or have flights to catch, we will make every reasonable effort to wait for weather to clear and launch the tour safely.
- If space allows, guests may be rebooked on a later tour the same day or evening.
Rebooking & Rainchecks
