Book Now!Join us for this 2 part adventure in the Seminole forest, just 30 minutes north of Orlando.
Get ready for kayaking and mountain biking in one of the areas most beautiful forests. This is “real Florida,” and something you will definitely want to experience while staying in our great state. Did you know Florida is one of the most bio-diverse eco-systems in the world? Yep! On this tour you will get to see the giant gators, and river life of the Econolockhatchee river, and then mountain bike your way through some fun single tracks in the ancient Little Big Econ Forest.
Your guide will pick you up at your hotel (I-Drive and Lake Buena Vista only) between 8:30-9am. Self-drive guest must arrive to Seminole State Forest by 9am. Then we head to the ancient Seminole State Forest, also called “Little-Big Econ Forest.”
We start our day kayaking down the Econolockhatchee River, once home to Florida’s Native American Seminole tribe. Use your imagination as you begin to paddle your kayak down this famous blackwater river. You will be quickly be transported back in time to remote unspoiled Florida. Look on the river bank for mounds – they could be “Indian mounds.” These were made by Native Americans as a type of storage area along the river, so they would have a rest stop while they navigated these waters on the way to the St. John’s River. As you paddle, be on the lookout for alligators, bald eagles, blue herons and deer.
We stop for a picnic lunch (included) along the river before finishing our kayaking early in the afternoon. After a short break, it’s time to peddle into the outback of the Little Big Econ Forest. Explore some of Florida’s best single tracks, as your ride through the forest, over bridges, through creeks. This is a fun 2-hour ride that finishes out our day.
BK’s Pedal and Paddle tour from Orlando is the only one of its kind and one you should not miss if you want to have a “real Florida” adventure!
Daily departures at 10am. Self-driving guests must arrive at Seminole State Forest by 9am.

Oh my gosh - this was AMAZING! We caught the bioluminescence on a '5' night (rated 1-5), so we really got to see it well. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and informative, as well as friendly. We had eight family members in our party, so we took the raft. My only complaint, which is something that is inherent in using a raft, is that you have to sit on the edge facing in, then row and try to look over your shoulder to see the bioluminescence. For me, that got tiring, and my neck hurt after awhile. I wish we could have just sat on the seats in the raft. BUT - it was still wonderful. I would like to do it again, but in a kayak. A++++ adventure! We live in Kansas, but I can't wait to go do some other nature tours with BK Adventures again. Jordan, in the orange shirt was the 'captain' of some of the tours 🙂 Our ages were 6, 8, 11, 13, 40, 41, 42, 69. We did this after a day touring the Kennedy Space Center on July 21st, 2023.

I can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was. I've never really spent much time kayaking, so the instructions at the beginning of the tour were very helpful. We did the combination sunset tour and bioluminescence, and both were unforgettable. Abigail was so enthusiastic and wealth of knowledge! Jade was thoughtful and gentle, making suggestions and pointing out small obstacles. We walked into the water near the shoreline for a bit after, enjoying the stars and playing in the glowing water. Don't hesitate. BOOK THIS! You are going to be blown away.

Our guide, a dude called Wild. Jay, was really excellent! He was both knowledgeable, entertaining, encouraging, and reassuring. My wife and I are both over 60 years old, but he made us feel like totally competent kayakers, and we learned a lot as well as seeing wonders of G-d's creation that we'd never seen before. We would seriously consider doing this again.

John Hernandez and Patrick had the pleasure of being the tour guides for OUR multilingual group of 17 people :). They were easy going and brought us along the canals. We saw manatees during the day and an amazing sunset and then we encountered lots of fish and even a hungry dolphin in the bioluminescence. It was very peaceful and to see Gods creation from a new perspective was enlightening!
