Titusville - Space Coast
Where is this tour:
Florida’s ONLY Fat Tire Bike Tour is on the Canaveral National Seashore near Kennedy Space Center. Join us for a day of adventure as we take you to this unspoiled beach and wildlife area to see some of Florida’s famous Space Coast landmarks.
What’s on the Fun Agenda:
We start this tour by letting you pack your own lunch! Guest arrive to our office and get to choose from a variety of picnic food that they will take with them for a beach picnic. Then we head out to the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. This is one of America’s largest wildlife sanctuaries. It boasts rare birds, spectacular views of Kennedy Space Center and the Space-X launch pads.
What You Will See:
You and your guides will jump on your Fat Tire Bikes and head down the wildlife trails to see Florida Alligators, Blue Herons, Roseate Spoon Bills, and other animals who call this nature reserve their home.
Along the way, take time to look out across the expanse of the Space Center and snap some Insta-worthy photos of the Space-X launch pads, NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building (so large it has it’s own atmosphere), and the unspoiled Florida nature. This bit of coastlines is one of the only places you can see Florida the same way it has looked for hundreds of years. This land was originally home to a Native American tribe called the Ais.
After a fun filled ride on your Fat Tire Bicycle, you will end up at the beach! This is the time to unpack your picnic lunch and enjoy the beauty of the Atlantic ocean. Be sure to watch for Dolphins and Pilot Whales who frequently pass by this coast.
After some fun time at the beach, we will drive back and end the tour in the early afternoon. This gives you plenty of time to explore the Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach, or other adventures in the area.

Tour guide Steve was awesome! My family went to the office instead of the drop off location which was at least 20 mins away and he had no problem waiting for us especially since the other family was late also. He was so knowledgeable and great with my son that was a little scared at first but loved it by the end. Such a great experience. If this is a place your considering....I highly recommend it.

Our guide, avi, was fantastic. Answered every question. A lot better than expected, as I am a skeptic at heart. Manatees and other wildlife for the sunset trip and a very cool logar show for the evening trip out. Went on a dark and rainy night and the bio was really bright. Thank you for a great evening.
I do have to mention getting there is part of the adventure, and the staff was great at providing directions when needed.

Went with friends for the Bioluminescence tour kayaking 10pm. We had a blast. Guides were fun and knew a lot about the nature of the wildlife preserve. We saw dolphins from the shore. At first glowing plankton were not out, but guide knew where to kayak and water started lighting as we paddled around. Tons of stars out. Can't say enough good stuff about BK and our guides (dillon? And jake). This was the best thing we did in Florida. Everyone should try this!
Our tours rarely cancel due to weather. If it is raining the day of the tour, chances are, with Florida weather, it will clear up by the time your tour starts. Sometimes we will hold the tour by 30 minutes for the weather to clear. In the case of lightning, high winds, or some other reason that we cannot paddle, we will re-schedule all guests to the very next tour available, or at a convenient time for you. Rainchecks are valid for 1 year.
Because of wildlife and environmental protection we have a limited number of bicycles we can use at one time. There will be 4-6 people on your tour, plus your guide. Fat tire bikes are made to ride in sand and over rough terrain. They are perfect for your wildlife beach adventure.
This tour is better for older children. All of our bikes are 26 inches. We recommend children are 10+ and 55" tall to be able to ride the fat tire bikes.
BK Adventure's office is about 50 miles from Orlando, and just 15 minutes away from Kennedy Space Center. Guest will meet at our Titusville office and then be driven to the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge (about 10 miles away).
Because of the limited availability of our equipment, they tend to book up quickly. Please call us if there is a time/day you would like that is not available for online booking. We may be able to get you on.
Clear Kayaking (see-through kayaks) is a spectacular way to experience Florida's bioluminescent waters. We take you to the glowing Indian River lagoon in the warm summer months when the dinoflagellate bioluminescence shines bright with each stroke of your paddle. MOST POPULAR TOUR!
Florida Bioluminescence Rafting! The only bioluminescent tour in Florida that is NOT in a kayak. Family friendly and for those who want to see the magic neon glowing waters from the comfort of a paddle raft. Close to Orlando and Cocoa Beach.. This is great adventure for kid or groups of 6-8, Raft guide in each boat.
