Departure Location Meet us at 101 Orange Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084—where the Barbie-inspired magic begins! This is your starting point for an unforgettable evening of lights, laughter, and iconic photo ops.
Parking Arriving in true Barbie style means planning ahead for parking, as finding a spot downtown can take up to 45 minutes. December is high season, especially on Friday and Saturday nights and the week after Christmas, which is the glittery peak of holiday traffic! Arrive at least an hour before your tour for the best chance of securing parking.
For a quick and easy option, the city’s “Park Once” garage at 1 Cordova Street is a top choice—totally worth it! This spot can fill up as early as 3:00 p.m. on weekends and event nights, so give yourself extra time to find the perfect place to park your dream ride. Public and private lots are also available around downtown, with most locations a quick 5-10 minute walk to the best sights. And don’t forget to follow all posted signs for street parking to avoid any towing drama!
Traffic During Nights of Lights, traffic can feel like a Malibu beach day! Expect some delays up to a mile before reaching the downtown area, especially on routes like A1A (Lions Bridge and Vilano Bridge) and U.S.-1 from all directions. Traffic is heaviest on weekends and every night in December, with the post-Christmas week being the busiest. Arrive early, and you’ll be cruising into town like the icon you are!
Google Maps Use Google Maps to zoom in on downtown St. Augustine, where you can spot various marked parking areas. Businesses and schools also open their lots for paid parking on busy nights. Ketterlinus Elementary on Orange Street often offers parking for a cause—an ideal location that lets you support the community while you dazzle downtown!
